System Administrator Ladok / Ubas

As our system manager will be free, we are now looking for an administrator with special responsibility for the Ladok study documentation system and the UBAS training database.

The job involves varied tasks, partly a lot of independent work and partly in collaboration with colleagues in other support and core activities. Is it you we’re looking for?

You will be part of the department for faculty support and work close to the university’s faculties. Faculty support is one of nine departments within the university’s joint support activities (HGS). The department consists of 38 employees whose main focus is to provide the university’s faculties with support in their various activities. The work includes study administration, handling of student matters and operational support to the faculties. The work in the department is characterized by the exercise of authority as well as support and service.

Tasks
You will work in close collaboration with our other system administrator for Ladok / Ubas. In collaboration with the other system administrator, you work with:

  • to be the system administrator for Ladok and UBAS
  • to train and support employees who use Ladok and UBAS
  • to develop and implement routines linked to the systems
  • ongoing administration of the Ladok system and the UBAS system
  • participation in national and regional networks

The tasks mainly consist of questions related to Ladok and UBAS, but other tasks and assignments within the education and study administration may also be included. You have a great deal of personal responsibility for planning and carrying out the tasks.

Eligibility and qualifications
We are looking for you with a high school education and it is an advantage with education in administration or higher education. You have experience of independent administrative work and from work in Ladok. If you have also worked at UBAS, this is a merit. It is an advantage with work experience from public administration and from college / university. If you have worked with study administration such as administrative management of course plans, exams, schedule and room booking, admission, registration and eligibility review, it is a plus. Experience from the service profession is also an advantage. You are an experienced computer user and have experience of working in the Office suite. You communicate well both orally and in writing in Swedish and English.

As a person, you are responsible, independent and used to working solution-oriented. You are happy to collaborate and do well in a responsive and flexible way. You are a positive and committed employee who creates new opportunities together with your colleagues. Of course you like to provide service. Within the university-wide support, it is also important that we take joint responsibility for the whole. We put great emphasis on your personal characteristics.

Other
The position is a full-time temporary position for about six months, starting by agreement, but preferably no later than 10 January. Location is in Kristianstad on our beautiful campus with good bus connections and parking opportunities. The position is filled provided that the necessary decisions are made.
