Data Engineer

Now there is a unique opportunity to be involved in organizing and shaping a BI unit for collecting and structuring data on SOS alarm!

As a Data Engineer, you will belong to our IT department and, together with our business areas, be responsible for producing and processing large amounts of data. These contribute to our analysis of how we can improve ourselves, but also create new conditions for building a safer Sweden. The service is new and you will have great opportunities to design the work yourself.

In this role you will:

  • Responsible for building, maintaining and optimizing data pipelines and delivering data to SOS Alarm’s various analysis units
  • Responsible for the technical platform and its related systems.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and operations to create understanding and improve the use of data models and data collection
  • Ensure that the handling of data complies with the regulations and safety rules that apply nationally and specifically to SOS Alarm.

You will initially be involved in a project for Analytics and AI and continue to work continuously for “best practice”. You are expected to be involved in evaluating technology, working methods and collaborations in order to work for continuous improvement and higher data quality.

We are looking for you who are well versed in agile work methods, solution-oriented, curious, collaborative and a master of communication. We would like you to have at least 2 years’ experience of a similar role.

We believe that you have experience of:

  • Data modeling, data collection and storage
  • The most common BI platforms and is aware of the technical developments in Analytics and AI.
  • The most common analysis tools such as Power Bi and Qlik etc.

As the work and documentation is in Swedish, you are required to speak fluent Swedish.
