Norsk Gjenvinning Distrikt Oslo is looking for a solution-oriented person with experience from logistics and road planning. The position will ensure that NG`s customers in Oslo receive high quality services. The position manages 12 compactors and 14 flatbed cars, and follows up a total of 26 cars / drivers who have Oslo / Romerike / Follo as their home district. You will work with planning, assignment and follow-up of assignments, involvement and development of drivers and cooperation with external transport companies. The driving leader reports to, and works closely with the Operations Manager Oslo on the operation and development of the district.
Assign assignments and follow up assignment execution on compactor and flatbed
Ensure the right capacity of cars to carry out the missions in the district
Follow up on all drivers and carriers in the district
Contribute to solving problems with the customer and in operation
Have control over costs on cars and assignments
Be a driving force for continuous improvement and implement local improvements
Be a sparring partner for the Operations Manager in matters related to operations and assignment execution
Participate actively in the team and be a driving force in the work for continuous efficiency and improvement of NG`s concepts, working environment and HSE work
Higher education, preferably in logistics. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of education
Experience from similar positions, preferably previous management experience
Knowledge of SAP and knowledgeable computer user
Good written and oral presentation skills
Customer and business oriented, understand the customer’s needs
As a manager, you are good at getting along with the employees
Ability to collaborate across the organization
High implementation ability and goal-oriented
Can identify with NG`s values - proactivity, team spirit, responsibility and business acumen
