The training center, which was opened in 1992, is supported by the working group of hospitals in the north-west region. The cooperation network includes 7 clinics from Emsland and the county of Bentheim. The state-approved advanced training center for intensive care and anesthesia offers nursing staff from the region and the surrounding cooperative hospitals advanced training in specialist nursing. The training concept is based on the Lower Saxony Ordinance on Training for Nursing Professions. The further training pursues the goal of further developing the professional competence of caregivers. The basic principle of the further training activity is the human and technical qualification of the employees as a decisive prerequisite for the optimal care and care of sick people. The location of the specialist training is the Ludmillenstift Meppen hospital. The Ludmillenstift hospital is a diverse and innovative hospital with 20 specialist departments and 10 interdisciplinary centers. As a hospital with extended focus care, it has 420 beds. Connected to the Ludmillenstift is a training center for basic, advanced and advanced training with the training courses for nurses and physiotherapy. The courses in occupational therapy and nursing assistance are carried out in cooperation with a vocational school.

Creation and implementation of the training concept according to the superordinate specifications
Organization, design and independent management of the advanced training course
Planning and implementation of the training program in theory and practice
Coordination of all matters with external institutions and lecturers
Management of tools to support VET trainers and learners
Participation in projects
Active participation and further development of the course
Accompanying the course participants in practice
Individual, targeted and professional guidance of the advanced training participants and our trainees to become nurses (m / f / d) in accordance with the requirements of the PflBG and the PflAPrV in the intensive care area
Promotion of the skills of the trainees according to the training plan
You will convince us with these qualifications:
Training as a health and child nurse or health and nurse (f / m / d)
Sound experience in the field of intensive and anesthetic care
A completed degree in nursing education or a comparable qualification is desirable
Completed specialist training as a specialist nurse – intensive and anesthetic care (m / f / d)
pedagogical skills and interest in practice-oriented teaching
Openness to new teaching and learning methods
Cooperative management style and flexibility
Willingness to analyze structures and develop them further
Organizational skills and good time management as well as independent, responsible and competence-enhancing work round off your profile
