We are looking for a communications consultant who can help us develop the municipality’s services and the municipal community in collaboration with residents. As a communications consultant, you will contribute to our goal of having a good dialogue with citizens, with a short distance between administration, politicians and citizens. We must ensure participation, trust, an active social life and vibrant local democracy. You get to work interdisciplinary with current issues with great societal interest. The position is currently part of the staff of Strategy and Society and reports to the municipal manager.

Tasks
Work strategically and operationally and ensure that the municipality has a comprehensive communication
Produce content (text, photo, video and audio) for websites, intranets and social media with a focus on target groups
Development of the municipality’s website and other communication platforms
Assist in projects across departments
Media monitoring, press contact and media management in collaboration with the municipality’s leaders
Strategic and practical management support for communication
Work holistically with content, to ensure that what is produced is in line with Lunner’s strategic documents and contributes to good online visibility
Contribute to the continuous development of the subject area communication in Lunner
Participate in training and dissemination activities
Qualification requirements
Education at bachelor’s level or higher in relevant communication disciplines. For applicants with particularly relevant experience, the education requirement may be deviated from somewhat
Precise written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian
Ability to convey complex issues in an easy-to-understand way and with clear language
It is desirable that you have:
A very good pen and writes clearly and distinctly
Experience with development of and dissemination through digital communication channels
Experience from larger companies or a similar role in the public or private sector
Experience with the programs in the Adobe suite
PolPersonal characteristics
Interest in and ability to familiarize yourself with Lunner’s subject areas and social assignments
Good skills and knowledge of the breadth of the communication subject; both how to produce good content for different audiences and best use different channels
Great work capacity and used to working under pressure
Innovative and creative with a future-oriented mindset
Curious about new technology and dare to work with new channels
A creative writer who works effectively both alone and with others
Likes to keep up to date on trends and new opportunities in the field of communication
Active, quality-conscious, constructive and good at collaborating at all levels in the organization
Works well both independently and in teams
