About the Capital Region of Denmark’s Emergency Preparedness
The emergency preparedness in the Capital Region aims to create a coherent pre-hospital effort for the citizens of the region. Our task consists, among other things, of receiving calls to 1-1-2 and 1813, where we advise and visit the region’s citizens further in the Health Service when they are in urgent need of help. We have digitized workflows, are based on evidence-based research and organize based on data, to be able to provide security to the citizen when they are acutely ill, as well as high quality in the management of the organization’s core task. This requires close cross-sectoral collaboration with i.a. hospitals, general practices and municipalities, which we give high priority to.
