Can you create an overview of the sales economy, evaluate business cases and ensure ongoing follow-up on the customer finances? And do you have the courage to challenge the status quo and take part in the digitalisation journey in one of the country’s largest food companies? Then you might be Stryhns Gruppen’s new junior controller for the head office in Roskilde.
For the finance function in the Stryhns Group, we are currently looking for an ambitious junior controller who thrives in an everyday life with varying tasks and with a large interface for both group functions and management team. We are a growing company, and we are looking for a sharp and ambitious number crusher that will help ensure that the Stryhns Group can continue the journey towards even stronger results in the future.
Experience with large amounts of data
As a junior controller in the Stryhns Group, you will be part of the finance function, which includes 3 passionate colleagues with extensive experience in finance.
With us, you get a dynamic everyday life with versatile tasks, and it is therefore crucial that you work in a structured and independent manner – and that you want to learn even more than you already can.
We are looking for a passionate and energetic colleague who sees opportunities rather than limitations without compromising on the quality and detail of the work – and if you have solid experience with Excel and handling large amounts of data, it is definitely an advantage.
Your primary tasks
Ensure optimal overview and control over sales economy and discount control
Ensure overall financial control over the cost base
Actively participate in volume budgets, estimates and targets
Ongoing follow-up on customer finances, including challenging and contributing to increased value through product range improvements, price increases and discount structure
Participate in a digitalisation journey with a focus on e.g. reports, processes, simulations
Evaluate business cases and spar with the sales and marketing team
Energy follow-up and standard cost calculations
Create weekly and monthly reporting for sales, marketing and supply
We imagine that you have an education in economics and preferably 1-2 years of experience from auditing or similar positions. Collaboration is important to us, and we are therefore looking for a colleague who has the skills and desire to work at many different levels of the organization. A team player who is hungry for good results and dares to challenge the status quo.
We know that you are not a world champion from day 1, and we help you and your development along the way, so you get better day by day. Most importantly, you are ambitious, teachable and have a solid understanding and interest in numbers and economics, including a solid knowledge of Excel.
The job involves relatively limited travel activity within Scandinavia, where you get the opportunity to meet and collaborate with our Norwegian and Swedish colleagues.
Part of the work towards a sustainable future
If you can see yourself as Stryhns Gruppen’s new junior controller, we can offer you a job with a high professional level and ample opportunity for development. You will be part of a large branded department store with a focus on quality and working environment. With us, you get a strong community with energetic colleagues who are not afraid to lend a hand. We are a company with good working conditions and high employee satisfaction, and we focus on developing our skilled employees through various development and training courses. At the same time, we are a responsible workplace that continuously introduces initiatives and investments that reduce our impact on the climate with the goal of a CO2-neutral value chain by 2050.
