Get to know HR in the administration department
The administration department handles staff functions for political leadership and ministry councils, develops management systems and establishes general guidelines for effective and coordinated management of the ministry.
The department takes care of administrative common matters and ensures that the activities take place within current rules and guidelines in the administrative area. The department consists of four sections.
In the section for people and organization, we have a vacant position as advisor / senior advisor within HR. The section has 10 employees and handles the full range of HR tasks in the ministry.

You get to work with varied work tasks
Recruitment from A to Z, including recruitment professional advice to managers, mapping competence needs, preparation of job advertisements, identifying potential candidates, applicant management, interviews, etc.
Ensure that the Ministry of Local Government and District Affairs (KDD) is visible and attractive to potential jobseekers (profiling work)
Develop competence measures
HR analyzes and personnel statistics

Qualifications and personal qualities
Relevant education at master’s level, preferably in HR, employment law, organizational psychology or social sciences field of study
Good knowledge of recruitment methodology and the entire value chain within recruitment
Experience from competence development work
Understanding of analysis and statistics
Good written and oral presentation skills
Good digital competence and experience with the use of digital tools
In addition, it is an advantage if you:
Has experience with employer branding (profiling work)
Is certified in work psychology tools
Has experience with the use of social media such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook

The position is paid as an advisor / senior advisor from NOK 550,000 – 700,000 per year. For particularly qualified people, higher salaries can be considered.
Depending on your qualifications and number of years of relevant work experience, you will be placed as an adviser or senior adviser, cf. the Ministry’s personnel and salary policy. As a general rule, five years’ relevant professional experience is required to be placed as a senior adviser and three years for an adviser.
A 2% contribution to the Government Pension Fund is deducted from the salary.

About the employer
The Ministry of Local Government and District Affairs has about 380 employees and is the secretariat for the Minister for Local Government and District Affairs and other political leadership.
The Ministry (KDD) is responsible for housing and building policy, the Planning and Building Act, the sustainability goals, map and geodata policy, municipal finances and local government, ICT and public administration policy, electronic communication, regional and district policy, the administrative responsibility for state administrators, election implementation, policy towards Sami and national minorities, state employer policy and state building and property management.
