About the position

Then you may be our new web editor!

HF is one of the largest faculties at the University of Oslo (UiO), and the faculty is now looking for a professionally strong web editor in a 100 percent permanent position. You will lead a team of four employees, and as a web editor, you have the main responsibility for strengthening the faculty’s position on digital surfaces. You report to the communications manager at the faculty, and will not have personnel responsibilities.

The faculty’s communication section has a total of nine full-time equivalents who work with all aspects of the communication subject. You will work in close collaboration with the rest of the communication staff and the other subject sections at the faculty. ( is one of the most important meeting places the faculty has for students, researchers, society and business. The web editor has an ongoing dialogue with the departments’ professional environments when preparing web solutions. You have a good knowledge of what it means to work in a large organization, and you will have both strategic and operational tasks.

Important work tasks in the position
lead and follow up the daily work in the online editorial office
map needs and prepare plans for (
represent the faculty in the forum for UiO’s web editors, and follow up on key plans at the faculty
give advice to managers and content owners
provide regular measurements, analyzes and evaluations
You will also contribute to the section’s work with advice and planning in other communication areas.

Qualification requirements
relevant communication education, minimum at bachelor level. Relevant prior learning can replace the educational requirement
strong digital competence, and good experience with management and development of digital channels aimed at several target groups
experience in writing and disseminating content online
experience in leading teams
knowledge of measurement and analysis
good communication skills and language skills in Norwegian and English
we place great emphasis on you being motivated and personally fit for the position
It is a great advantage if you have experience with universal design, SEO and plain language. It is also an advantage that you master measurement and analysis tools, such as Google Analytics.

salary NOK 543 500 – 626 100 per year in position as advisor SKO 1434, or salary NOK 594 300 – 702 100 per year in position as senior advisor SKO 1364, depending on experience and competence
